My Xbox 360 had an "Open Tray" problem, when I installed the game, the message "Reading" appeared for a second and then "Open Tray" opened. It didn't recognize games, but oddly enough, it could play DVDs. You may be having the same problem right now. I was about to send my Xbox in for repairs when I came across this product and at $7.99 I thought why not give it a try. The repair cost me at least $75 + shipping. I have to admit I was skeptical that this would work. It was made easy and it worked! It takes about 3 minutes to clean it. Right after that I installed the game and it ran like clockwork again. I strongly recommend that before you a) send your console in for an expensive repair, or b) follow any advice on YouTube about putting envelopes in the tray or disassembling the system yourself: give it a try. It's nice to know that there are still products that do what they promise without breaking the bank.
