Used with iPhone XS Max While it holds the phone perfectly, the screw/ball joint wasn't strong enough to keep the phone at the right angle after a few minutes of driving to keep. A strong impact could have dropped the phone, but that only happened once (and I have very stiff custom racing suspension in my car, so I had to be careful with speed bumps). It hangs down and since my vents have horizontal slots it pulls them down with it. I probably should have realized that this wouldn't be the best option for my car, but hey, live and learn. So it's fine for lighter phones, but I'd consider a sturdier dashboard or windshield without vents. Possibility. I will say that it is well made and I think it will work well for small phones and vertical vents. The Pitaka case is also very good. I think they're $50 each? Ehhhh. $30 max with so much competition.
