Review on Rough Country 87001 2 5 Inch Suspension by Firman Harrington

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great elevator! I went with a rack and pinion lift instead.

Super elevator! I opted for a strut lifter rather than a spacer and as always the coil spring transfer was a bit hairy (if you don't have a spare tool you can go to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's and rent a tool for a fully refundable deposit, or buy one Jegs are about the same price of deposit it all depends on what kind of instrumental person you are). The racks also look smooth in the photo, but the ones I got for my 2017 Tundra were just black. So while I was removing the springs from the factory stays, I hit the new 2.0s with a can of red paint to make them pop. It took me about 5 hours to work on the front and back due to the difficulty of aligning some of the front components and not using any power or air tools (except jacks). I had a spacer on my 2007 Tundra and it came off like a breeze. The rear blocks were fairly easy to attach, just jack up, slide in and tighten. The instructions weren't very important, but if you have a bit of vehicle knowledge you should be fine. I would recommend this lift to anyone who wants to add a bit of height. I've had a lift for 6 months and haven't had any strange noises or activity. PS I've used cheaper "Ebay Special" lifters in the past and you get what you pay for. This lift comes with everything you need so you don't have to make extra trips to your local auto parts store.
