Doesn't work with my Apple TV or Fire Stick; It's a hassle to set up

I spent hours setting up the Orbi network, encountered many problems and finally found that my Apple TV and Fire Stick didn't work with it worked . The whole experience was disappointing and I ended up returning the Orbis and buying something else. One problem with Orbi is that it takes a few minutes to turn on. Well, during the installation, the device needs to be restarted several times, so it takes a while. In addition, I encountered various errors that required more reboots and had to start over, taking 1 hour to install. The app you use to set it up isn't good at identifying or diagnosing problems. I had to return it, order a new system and go through another hour of setup with various issues. After my new Orbi network was set up, it worked fine on our phones, but we found that some popular websites were loading incorrectly or throwing weird HTTP errors. I got one of our Fire Sticks working, but only after unplugging and re-plugging it multiple times. However, our other Fire Sticks and Apple TVs didn't work at all - they connected to Wi-Fi with a strong signal, but encountered errors when attempting to stream video. I ended up returning Orbis (again) and buying another manufacturer's system. The new one is more expensive but I installed it and got it up and running in 10 minutes and it works on all my devices so it was worth it.

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises
