Review on LG 34BK95U W UltraFine UltraWide Thunderbolt 75Hz: High Dynamic Range and Tilt Adjustment by Resty Baker

Revainrating 1 out of 5

If you don't mind flickering and terrible colors, get this monitor.

Had this monitor run for about a week before it started pixeling (half the pixels on the screen are just kind of deaf, not dead, just faint) and especially the blacks on the screen would just flicker like crazy. It will stop after a while, but no amount of cables, different output computers or cables will solve the problem. I would also get a lot of discoloration, like a purple haze over everything here and there. Trust me I've tried everything. I used to work in IT and looked through all the options in menus, drivers, software, cables, etc. It seems to be a known issue with LG and they offer to ship it (you have to pay for the box). I'm posting it, but given the prevalence of this flickering issue, I'm surprised the ratings aren't lower. For this price range they don't deserve to ship a monitor with known issues. . These things should be almost flawless.
