Poor performance but even poorer customer service trying to return

The unit is very nice visually but performance is horrible. You can't keep the temperature steady as if you set at 32 degrees F it will cool down to 32 degrees where the temperature probe is and then shut down for 3-5 minutes and then when the temperature reaches 36 degrees F the compressor will kick back on for about a minute or less and then shut off at 32F. Plus insulation is non existentPlease remember this is the temperature probe value and not inside the cooler. If you put something room temperature in it will never get to 32 degrees F. I even tried setting it to 20 degrees F and it does the same thing as the items will never get or stay cold. Crazy fridge! So you are wondering as how in the world is this fridge getting good reviews. Beats Me as maybe they are setting the fridge to 0 degrees F as then the compressor will stay on and even then take 12-24 hours before things get cold and the fridge will ice up alittle inside. Now as a comparison I have 2 54 quart fridge freezers that blows this fridge away as it will rapidly cool down and stay on 10-15 minutes and then adjust to 32 degrees where I set it and a case of 24 pops will be at 32 degrees in about 6 hours or less. A six pack in an hour. I left a review for this fridge here on amazon as it is a costway. It is way better built and works perfectly for my needs. Now this Ausranvik fridge maybe fine if you keep in your trunk and run errands around town while it is in freeze mode. But for my needs I go off grid and run off of solar. The average amp draw is 5 amps in freezer mode and is constant almost 100% of the time as when its not at 5 amps it is 4 amps and sometimes the advertised 3 amps. So this is a no go as that is 120 amp hours in a day and would knock out 2 100 ah agm batteries on a cloudy day.To give the manufacture a chance I first contacted the seller and they referred me to the manufacture and I explained the problem and to see if there is any solution. Their solution is they would sell me another one at a highly discounted price and were sorry. Either English translation is a problem as I just provided the date of purchase and the amazon purchase number and they seem clueless.I want to return this as it is not so simple as I contacted the seller once and they tried to sell me a thermo electric cooler as they are clueless too. Finally after 4 people I got a boss and told me to talk to the manufacture as they don't know how to operate the products their selling. Go Figure. So no easy return as how did I know as it said ebay Prime and shipped from their warehouse. Maybe I will start buying higher priced items locally.

Pros
  • BATTERY PROTECTION: Battery Protection Mode, from high to low, prevents your car battery from exhausted. When the input voltage is lower than the minimum voltage, the compressor will power off. It saves your time to re-set with memory function for next time.
Cons
  • Could be prone to malfunctions or technical issues, requiring repairs or replacement
