Review on AUSRANVIK 37 Quart Portable Car Freezer Fridge, 12/24V DC 110V AC Compressor Touch Screen For Vehicle Truck RV Camping Travel Fishing Outdoor Driving -4°F To 50°F by Mike Zeigler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Update: Still super happy but things you might want to know

Others have reviewed and as scientifically as possible given the temperature control abilities of this cooler so I'll focus on other areas. The cooler is very good looking and compact for the amount storage. It feels well made with the lid latch and the use of a ball chain instead of plastic strip to keep the lid from overextending. LED light is super functional and just makes the cooler seem "cooler". The compressor and working components are extremely compact. I don't see the drain being particularly useful but others might.Update: I have been using this pretty much weekly and still give it 5 stars. There are a few things you need to know though. This unit outperforms expectations. It really will freeze the hell out of anything. Even using a lithium battery pack it is extremely efficient staying on power 3-5 hours depending on internal and ambient temperatures. It is heavy but no heavier than any cooler if that cooler had a bag of ice in it. "Pre-cool" on 110 outlet and then plug it into the cigarette lighter or battery pack. Be sure to reduce the power monitor/shutoff even if plugged into a always on power outlet. It will take near forever to take a 12 volt car battery down. At least 2 have been bought by friends that have admired the functionality of the system. I would not hesitate to buy it again.Efficiency is outstanding. In 80 degree ambient temperature I connected my Ravpower 27,000 mAh with beer already cooled to the 110v supply. It kept the cooling just above 0 Celsius for 5 hours! A healthy car battery would probably keep it going for a day (I'll try that next).I can't speak to durability or longevity because I've only had it for 4 days. But I have other high end coolers (Yeti/Ozark) and frankly as long as I'm near power this my new go to unless I'm on my jetski (boat would be fine). As great as Yeti and others are you are taking up space with the use of ice, adding weight with both the ice and insulation, go get the ice and risk getting your food water logged.
