Suction to 9 microns in about 30 seconds according to my new CPS VG200 gauge attached directly to the connector (no tubing). With the bottom gauge kit it will only prime down to 45 microns and it will take a few minutes (most likely leaking hoses) but the mini-split installation instructions say the plumbing set needs to be under 350 microns for this pump to do it with ease can .work. Now the bad news: the first one I got was DOA (Locked Rotor). Luckily it was easy to return and a new one arrived the next day. Make sure you check your item with a quality gauge before the 30 day return period expires! The vacuum function on the cheap gauge I got is useless as it just says the vacuum was just over -20 inches of mercury (about 70% vacuum) even at 45 microns (which is actually better than 99.99% Vacuum).
