Simple KVM is the best of KVM switches
A simple device that when powered by USB from each input switches control as needed. This is a full connect/disconnect. The video will not stay connected and will be viewed on another device. If your standby is in hibernation or standby, you need to wake it up and switch back a few times for the video to load. This works well for 2 devices on the same device. a monitor with a monitor output. My setup (3 outputs on 1 and 1 output on 2) makes this a bit more difficult.
