great product. I used this for a 3 day hike with a nice 50 liter rotomolded cooler. I've used this and 4-5 bottles of frozen water with ice (standard 16oz bottles) to chill 2 meals, 30 packs of beer and other occasional drinks/food. The cooler was opened/closed many times to get drinks (there were 30 beers). there) as well as children grabbing juice/beverage boxes. Full disclosure - outside temps were only in the high 70s - low 80s and we were in a fairly shady area - but I don't think there would be any problems if it had to fight the sun in a cooler good quality. Let's just say I was shocked. I was at a car camp so if that test failed I could go to the ice if needed. Never needed. actually. When I got home the fridge had no water from the ice/food and I was lazy - so I just left the fridge in the car/garage for another day - the drinks in the fridge were still very cold! to replace the ice and that's all. The Kube is a bit too big on its own, but I wouldn't turn down the space for its performance on any day. I've tried other products too - for the price - it couldn't be better!
