Review on 🔍 K&N High Performance Premium Powersport Engine Air Filter: Fits 2003-2009 SUZUKI (SV650, SV650S, SV650SF, SV1000S, SV650A ABS, SV1000) SU-6503 by Brian Kingsford

Just wanted to replace my dirty factory filter and thought this reusable filter was worth the difference in price. I didn't have high expectations for the performance, but I was wrong! Once installed I could tell the engine sound had changed a bit but the surprise was the idle speed. The engine just got more responsive. I'm not sure if the power has increased, but it seems to me that the bike has become a bit more aggressive. In addition, my gas mileage went from 55mpg to 60mpg (during normal low-gas commuting to work). Keep in mind, as I mentioned earlier, my standard filter was pretty dirty and could therefore be blocking the flow. Maybe I just went back to a new stock filter now, but the manufacturer says you can give the K&N 50,000 miles before you clean it! Installation was easy too. Remember to remove the gasket from the bottom of the airbox. I didn't have to fiddle around with the carburetor jet. Some idle adjustment may be required. Ultimately, I recommend this filter to anyone willing to replace the old stock filter.
