Cannot connect to Chamberlain garage opener WPA2 enabled

I had to return this device as it was not compatible with my WiFi garage opener. I spent a few hours alone and 30 minutes on the phone with tech support. We couldn't get it to connect to an activated security system. It connected when I disabled security and left Wi-Fi open. And you can't leave the guest wifi open. Every other smart device I've connected and the range is great. And the interface is beautiful. But opening a garage was a deal breaker for me.
