Good things first: a really great lube in terms of grip and lubrication. Runs clean and works well, with good durability. Truly the perfect road riding lube when using immersion wax as a base lube and then topping it up to extend the intervals between full dips. On a road bike, I would pull the chain for cleaning and rewaxing at about 250-300 mile intervals, but this allowed me to increase my mileage to about 500 miles, greatly reducing the overall time and effort involved in my spectacular waxing routine. This material is really ideal for this role. Not so good: Off-road it picks up enough dirt to make reapplying a problem, as you have to clean it thoroughly before reapplying. For use on a gravel or mountain bike you will need to fully clean, rinse, dry and reapply the chain every 3-5 hours of riding as opposed to regular wet lube which you can reapply and wipe off. does a great job in terms of lubrication but adds a bit of extra work for off-road use. As for me, I stick with a wet lube like Rock-n-Roll Gold for off-road applications and use it as an additional lube between a full new road bike wax.
