I am very satisfied with the quality of this product. It doesn't smell and the worms weren't crumbly or broken into pieces. I had to find a way to feed our wild birds that wouldn't attract rodents like regular bird seed does. We live by the river in Florida so rats and mice are a normal part of our wildlife which means we need to be vigilant by doing our part to not attract them into our gardens. I did a little research and found that many of the birds that frequent our garden love mealworms. Every morning I fill our 3 food bowls so that they have enough food for the day and every evening I check that the food bowls are empty as usual. Unlike bird sperm, I don't find any remains of mealworms on the ground. So far I've had eastern bluebirds, Carolina wrens, house wrens, and painted buntings enjoying worms. I particularly enjoyed watching the wrens as 2 different mothers came with their chicks and fed them worms. It is so sweet! So far I haven't seen any signs of rodents in the yard, which definitely pleases me.
