Yes, the first impression after wearing winter Pirelli spiked shoes was almost no noise, more like rustling. The Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 (which I shall compare with) made a louder noise than winter shoes, as I recall from prior seasons when switching from spring to summer shoes. The Conti also made noise, even when they were nearly bald. Such a thing does not exist here. I also take note of the sidewall's softness, albeit it is not thin; rather, it is considerably thicker than Conti's. But - gentle. I'm hoping it won't be damaged by our pits.
