Review on Phanteks Eclipse P400 Steel ATX Mid Tower Case - Anthracite Grey with Tempered Glass by Tim Surridge

Gorgeous case! Definitely recommended.

Bought to use in an RGB build as it's a great looking case with a large side window. The case is very well made and you can tell when you open the box. As amazing as this case is, it still has 2 downsides that I want to bring to your attention. 1. The top of the case is very close to the motherboard and this causes problems when trying to mount a cooler on the top since the RAM is there. The only solution to fix this is to install the radiator in the front. The front only has about 1 inch of space that pushes air up and out. I was worried this would cause temperature issues so I tested it. I used Prime 95 and core temp to stress test with the front panel on and off. The difference was almost 9 degrees Celsius, and that's a very big difference. The solution to this problem is to use a push/pull configuration on your radiator to increase static pressure. This isn't a big deal to me as I generally like push/pull to start with, but I wanted to give you a hint. The window to the case has a rubber grommet that sits under the button. A bit of an OCD problem.
