Bought this key for a 2012 Chevy Traverse. The price of this key was much lower than the dealer. The dealership cut out the key but didn't program it or the fob. They told me how to program the key to make it work but not how to program the fob. The key works but it stalls the ignition to the point where I have to move the key for the car to start. I think it's the chip in the key. As spare parts, the chips have nothing to do with the alarm system. I rated it 2 out of 5 because of this issue. If you want to save over $100 at the dealer, use this key pack.
