When I assembled this beautiful basket I noticed that it was very easy to remove from the bike. At first I thought this was a great feature - just lift the basket's two handles and it easily detaches from the base (e.g. to take it to the store for shopping). It is much easier to remove from the bike than other detachable bike baskets. However, the basket fell off the bike the first time it was used when riding over a bump in the road. So I secured the bike to the base with zip ties and tied the handlebars to keep them from going up. The basket will no longer be removed. My advice to buyers: avoid this basket if you need a detachable basket and get another brand. If you don't need a detachable basket, note that you will need zip ties to hold it to the bike, or buy something else. To a company? Work on the design to ensure that what looks good in theory works in practice.
