When it comes to Wrangler 17 Year JKU accessories and mods, I look for great prices but don't want to compromise on quality. In my experience, if you buy cheap, you pay later. The OEM ratchet removal tool is fancy but time consuming and I plan to use a garage lift to remove the hard top regularly in good weather. There are a few extra knobs and handles online, but these seem the most comfortable to grip and also serve as an easy fix. I had previous experience with a GPCA cargo bag and used their D-rings as attachment points. So I decided to try them. Obviously they're much quicker to install and remove compared to stock bolts, but they're not "quick-release fasteners" as that sounds unsafe for such a necessary and heavy piece of construction as a hard top. I also preferred these grips to other knurled grips so I could get a better leverage grip and use them as a rope attachment or bungee cords if needed. They feel strong and durable and match my all black Wrangler.
