The color is perfect for our stairway steps, bight enough , but still muted enough. We got them for manly our older pugs, who needs the traction carpet supplies. We had wall to wall, which the pugs beat up , and didn’t want the expense of wall to wall . We removed the carpet on the top of the steps, and got a nice indoor/ outdoor throw rug for the top of the steps. These matched the colors in that rug, and are the perfect size on the steps. We have a chair lift, and other brands whe too long. These are just perfect in size for the space on the steps with the chairlift tracks.They also blend with the brushed metal of the tracks.So far, the dogs haven’t had any issues with them skidding, because they have a sticky back that really holds them in place.We got a second set, Incase we have need to replace any of them. That’s how much we like them.
