Because the connector of the high-frequency horn points to the driver's side, the car wiring harness is too short to reach it. So to install a high horn, you need to cut off the car wiring harness connector, connect about 6 inches of extra wire, and reattach the connector. Move the horns towards the front of the vehicle. Definitely not: I can't figure out why, but if you over-tighten the nuts holding the horns to the mounts, the horns will sound very weak. I had to mount them with silicon washers to get a good sound out of the horns. I really can't figure out why this is happening - it's not a grounding issue because I've experimented with it and eliminated it as the cause. But maybe there's computer involvement in the beep because the beeps also beep in response to the doors locking remotely.
