This Sony Digital Voice Recorder worked fine when I first bought it but I had some issues with corrupted files and problems transferring MP3 files on the device. My computer (running Windows XP Pro) often freezes when transferring MP3 files. Out of frustration I go back to my old Sony NetMD disc player. Chunky, but it works. The Sony IC Recorder still captures audio quite well. I will probably buy a product specifically to store and play music files and just use the SONY IC to record the sound from the microphone. Good stereo microphone by the way.
