I was a little skeptical at first as there are several other Surface to USB-C cables at Revain that don't seem to work, and some could even be dangerous for your Surface. However, I noticed that these reviews were more about cables that ran on both 12V and 15V power supplies. This only works with 15V. Revain sells another cable of this type from another brand that only works on 15v and had good reviews so I figured since it has the same requirements it might just be a cheaper version of this cable. .And I think it might be; it works as expected. I tried a 45W power supply that could deliver 15V at 3A and it charged my surface well. The quality of the cable also seems to be pretty good. What didn't work was my power adapter, but that's not the cable's fault. When trying to charge it, I found that my power supply was only outputting 14.5V at 3A (43.5W); slightly less than the required 15V at 3A (45W). So yes, the cable is pretty picky about meeting 15V power requirements exactly (my PSU can also supply 20V, but that still doesn't meet the 15V requirements), but if you're careful and check if your power supply conforms to this requirement, you should be fine.
