Our first training collars had to be replaced because the transmitter would no longer charge. We first ordered another highly rated set that was slightly cheaper. She proved very difficult to use, had adjustable nylon collars that were difficult to adjust, and a huge transmitter. This patpet system is very simple and easy to use, it has really high quality collars with buckles and lots of holes. to fit your dog's neck and the size of the transmitter is just right for my small hands. The transmitter can be worn with an attached belt clip or around the neck. It's small enough to fit in some of my pockets. These collars have a feature that our previous ones didn't have. You have the option of not attaching any sensors either, unless you want to use the discharge feature. As our dogs are older and quite obedient for the most part, all we need is tone correction to keep them from eating mulch from flower beds and the like. Because we didn't have to add sensors to the collars, the collars are just as comfortable to wear as a regular collar. But if for some reason we need to use the shock mode, we can just attach them and that's it. Definitely recommend these collars.
