These came with two already open. Let me guess someone opened them, realized they were a bunch of junk and sent them back and the company just repackaged them and sent them back to me? Which probably happened because they are TERRIBLE! Literally falls apart in your hand. None of them are long-lived. I feel like I can probably use one of them but not the other two. I use it for crafts, not as an ice pick, just to poke holes in clothes and insert bobby pins. If you are buying this for ice cream, DO NOT BUY! Find something else. Because I'm willing to bet $1,000 that it will break on the first use. The details are lost in such a way that they move and create a ringing sound. The design is just terrible. To be honest, it just annoys me that they're sold as ice axes because those fragile things will never stand up to the ice.
