I was disappointed with the material and what I would consider a lack of quality. If the water supply line goes under the neck of the filter element and hose, forget about suction. I don't think this setup will last more than a few months at most. I bought a similar device at a pet store and the long, clear hose was made of rubber with better quality plastic parts. You get what you pay for.
