Review on πŸ§‡ The Ultimate Belgian Waffle Maker Cookie: Irresistible Treats at Home by John Anaya

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as well finished as waffle cone molds

First, it's quite small. This is definitely a "biscuit" maker and not what you would normally think of as a Belgian waffle maker. I used the waffle cone recipe and it turned out to be a nice thick cookie. I'm deducting a star for the quality. I don't like the cotter pins holding it together; handles interfere with proper closing; there is an uneven thickness gap between the front and back; and mine had free handles (one is free to rotate in the mold and can move 1/2 inch long but not pull completely out of the mold). This creates problems when lifting or opening as one of the metal handles rotates. I wish it was built a little better, but it makes small, custom-sized wafers, albeit a bit uneven.
