Review on 🔌 USB 3.0 Hub Ethernet with USB C Adapter: 3 Port Splitter and Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 1000Mbps Extender by Ashwin Worlds

My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port so I needed an adapter. This Atolla Ethernet/USB combo hub exceeded my expectations. That works great. Not only does it have Ethernet, but it also has three USB-A 3.0 ports. I connected an ethernet cable, laptop fan, wireless mouse and USB drive. I've tried USB 2.0 and USB 3.1 sticks and both work. The Logitech wireless mouse does not interfere with working with a flash drive. Ethernet connects quickly. However, this adapter doesn't work with a thin external USB hard drive, but that's probably due to the laptop's USB-C port, not the adapter - if I plug the hard drive directly into the laptop's USB-C port, it works too not - then the USB port is to blame -C laptop. I also tried this adapter on a USB-A port with the same result, except it recognized a thin external USB hard drive but didn't communicate with the PC - it buzzed all night. So an external hard drive is useless. Please note that the same hard drive works correctly when plugged directly into one of the laptop's USB-A ports. Thinking that the fan, wireless mouse, and hard drive are drawing too much power from the connector, I turned off the fan and wireless mouse, but the hard drive keeps clicking. However, for my purposes this adapter works great and solves my problem with this laptop. I plug the adapter into a USB-C port for those three devices mentioned, leaving two USB-A ports free to connect two external hard drives so I can copy between those two backup drives. It does everything I need and the hard drive issue is most likely related to the ports on the laptop so I gave this adapter 5 stars and bought a few more.
