Review on 🐋 Davis Instruments XL Whale Tail Hydrofoil Stabilizer by Darnell Evans

My boat is a C-Dory 22 and they work really well with my dual Honda setup. Others have reported losing mph and I understand why as they can actually point their nose down and dig in. However, in my case, with very careful trimming and some experimentation, I didn't seem to lose top speed at all. . I also didn't hit top speed and noticed no difference in cost per gallon. Anyway, the biggest plus these hydrofoils have had for my boat is that they can move over 2-3 feet of chop surprisingly comfortably. It's really a different boat in that regard. I thought they would definitely help, but I didn't think there would be that much of a difference. I am definitely impressed and a very satisfied customer.
