Review on 🔧 Maxpow 2 HOOD & 2 TAILGATE Lift Supports Struts for Grand Cherokee 1999-2004 4048 4699 - Long-lasting Hood & Liftgate Struts by Omar Malvo

Just put them on my 2001 Grand Cherokee. The tailgate and hood now stay open as they should. The instructions are not clear! The smaller set goes to the hood. Do not exaggerate. Use a small screwdriver to pry up the metal clamp ring on each end of the OLD post. The end then slides off the swivel. New ones are simply pushed onto the hinge. The large set fits on a back door with the bolts screwed in. I use a hex screwdriver and a ratchet. The screw heads can be easily unscrewed from the racks. Be careful not to cut the threads on the new screws or tear off the screw head.
