The drill itself deserves four stars. But the apparent lack of support blows him away. I've used it to tighten screws on my deck and it worked great. I've also managed to power a 25" drain pipe auger and look forward to using that torque for laundry jobs after my drain man does the main line. This drill works very well out of the box. As other reviewers have pointed out, it comes in a rectangular nylon case with corrugated dividers, which looks more like packing material than what you'd use to protect a drill when traveling. This is a weak justification for the case. In addition to the battery, charging station and drill, there is a small (6 x 2.4 x 1 inch) sturdy plastic box with bits and screwdrivers. There is nothing in the manual to contact the manufacturer. The label on the drill says it was made by Metalwell Hardware & Tools Co., Nanjing, China. The seller listed on Revain is MX TOVEL US with an address in Nanjing. The manual has a brief "Maintenance" section with a vague suggestion to contact a qualified repair person and use only identical replacement parts. Decades ago, as a new homeowner, I received a branded cordless drill with a non-replaceable battery. And when I needed it, the battery stopped charging. I love that this drill has a removable battery. But nothing in the manual indicates that this tool is supported by the manufacturer. So I have to think that this drill is just as disposable as the famous one I took to recycle. When you buy brands like DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Makita, you expect replacement batteries to be available, including aftermarket batteries. If you need something now and price is important, this might be the exercise for you. If you need something to find a replacement battery for when the original battery dies, consider going with a reputable brand.
