The original device comes with a good storage box, the "aftermarket device" does not. A common complaint about the original device was that you had to look at a high angle to get the screen clear, while looking directly at the screen was difficult to read and disappeared. Judging by the feedback and seller feedback, this has been fixed in the "updated" device. This convinced me to try the "updated" version, but it suffers from the same issue as the original, except that it's upside down - instead of looking at a higher angle to keep the screen clear, I have to now look at a low angle to be clear. It's still faded and hard to read right now. This is unlikely to be a solution to simply flip the screen readability issue. The temperature at the source device is too low. The verdict on the "upgraded" device is still pending and I will update my review after doing some testing.
