The product had a noticeable odor when applied. We both noticed dry mouth and sore throat within an hour of being in the same room with previously treated clothing. Anything you've treated and can touch afterwards leaves your hands sticky and just plain gross. During the whole process I had to wash my hands 5 times because I couldn't stand the feeling or was scared of petting one of our animals and getting it dirty! From the moment our dog got to the items that were already dried, he couldn't stop licking them obsessively, so all treated items had to be washed just an hour after they were put in place. No matter what we did, she kept licking the area where the object was. So basically I wasted half a bottle throwing the rest away. If you are applying to areas that you or animals are near or touch frequently, I do NOT recommend. For items like curtains or if you don't have pets you should be fine.
