I have a second one. The first lasted over a year and worked very well. But one day I hit a bump on the freeway, the hinge broke and my phone broke. I've only had the second one for a few weeks and he's just not holding the phone in his hand. The grip is too loose. Of course I live in Southern California and anything windshield related is deep fried. I suppose if you're up north and it's cool there it will work. I'm looking for something that works and lasts.
