December 27, 2019 I have updated my review on this product due to the great customer service I received in response to my first review. Gilmo sent me a replacement set. I just have to use a method other than boiling to sterilize the gateways before using them. ********************************** ************** ** ******** Initial Rating: Useless, useless Like all my fermentation equipment, I boiled out locks, lids and gaskets in water. . Cheap plastic airlocks have melted down and become unusable. Nowhere in the sparse instructions that came with the product was there a warning against sterilizing the locks with boiling water. Covers and seals are currently unaffected. However, the product is unusable. Unless you use another method to sterilize your fermentation equipment, don't buy it.
