This funnel was disappointing. Yes, it works, but it has serious limitations. First, it's a funky flow setup. It is designed to fit a variety of pitchers. I first used it on a 5 liter jug and then unscrewed it when I was done. Then I figured I'd put it back on the jar and seal it with the lid that came with it. The problem was that it didn't roll back. It might go wrong or pop out if it's a snug fit, but it wouldn't go that way the second time around. There is also a ventilation system. So if you hold a 5 liter container of oil the flow will decrease and decrease as the container starts to create a vacuum. So you have to burp the thing along the way, which of course leads to the mess you were trying to avoid by buying the funnel in the first place. That might be fine for a 1 liter container, but really not good for a 5 liter container.
