What can I say other than the switch for UHD/4K video just doesn't work. When this switch is in the mix position, the video will pause for a second or two once or twice a minute. Sometimes you can get several minutes of continuous video, but that's rare. I've tried troubleshooting video sources, changing TV settings, changing cables. Nothing worked. Eventually I bought an unnamed Chinese switch that had good reviews and the problem was solved! The exchange works great. I bought Monoprice because I trusted the brand. I think it was my fault. I have another TV that I want to use it on, but I think I'll have to buy another of the cheap (working) switches if I want to connect more stuff. I assume it's because it doesn't have an external power supply. adapter and relies solely on HDMI for power, it just doesn't have enough power to do its job. My new switch *has* external power and it works. Overall I'm just disappointed. I expected more from Monoprice.
