I received a defective fan controller. It does not sync with the motherboard even after connecting correctly and does not respond to the remote control. The fans are on and spinning, so they get power from the SATA connector, but the controller won't even turn on. RGB backlight. There is no speed control, no light at all, no function on the remote works. I know it's not a remote as the RGB should turn on automatically and the light works on the remote so it emits a signal. I also know it's not the motherboard as I've disconnected the fans from it and they still don't respond. RGB was the only reason I bought them, I could have saved about $20 if I wanted regular fans. Even with them I could get a working fan controller.
