I have purchased several trimmers over the years. I demand a lot from my trimmer as I have a thick beard that grows very quickly. These are by far the best. The design is superb and they are surprisingly quiet. However, these trimmers are not perfect. The blade is not sharp enough when delivered. It needs to be adjusted to properly cut African American hair. An adjustment tool is included but I recommend taking it to a barber to have it adjusted as I did. After getting the blade close to my barber, I was very pleased with how defined my beard looked. The only downside is that it's very irritating. I recommend getting a Wahl or Andis foil former to shave off stubble and reduce irritation.
