I decided to give the Wahl a try and was very surprised to find that it performed as well, if not better, than the Andis trimmers. I was very happy with this product. Was absolutely disappointed with this product! Not only was the product not what was advertised in the Amazon description, but it was fake! And to top it off, the item was used and had human hair! In use for about 8 months. Best beard trimmer and detailer. With zero gap blades you can dry shave very easily. Unfortunately, the downside to this is that if you remove the blade every few months to clean your hair, there's a good chance some of the plastic components inside will break. I broke the white plastic piece inside and am trying to find out if Val will fix it under warranty. I've tried this and it cuts and details way better than the Andis T-Outliner and never gets hot.

Update #2: I can't believe it's 2019 already! My machines still work like new.
