I make and sell greeting cards for our local library and I enjoy embroidering many of my cards with embroidery floss or baker's twine (aka "fancy thread"). ). "). I've used other DMC colors and played around with them a bit, but this dark gold color was a particular challenge. Individual threads kept coming apart, knotting and snapping while trying to embroider a postcard based on the customer's picture. It took me almost an hour to complete what should have been an easy task. The color is very pretty - shimmering dark gold - but I don't recommend this thread. It's too difficult to manipulate. Look at the picture of the Clients for a baby card that I embellished with this dark gold thread.
