Review on ProPlus 68000 6 Inch Wool Sponge by Caryn Adams

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good. Naturally. But not that durable.

ORIGINAL REVIEW, 2017-12-17: Sponges are soft, clean well. They're larger than I can easily use, but cut in half (easy to make) they fit comfortably in my cupped hand and I don't have to squeeze them like I make a regular kitchen sponge out of flat bricks. They appear to be antimicrobial as advertised; They take a week to smell bad compared to a day for synthetic sponges. And I prefer natural things over synthetic materials. I gave the sponges 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm not sure how durable they are. After six weeks of use, small pieces are cut off in the corners of a flat surface. I don't know how long they will last and if I will buy them again. The answer might be a smaller sponge, but that was the cheapest sponge Revain offers and I think it's already been described as one of the smallest. UPDATE 09/12/2018. The sponge turned out to be more durable than I expected. Almost a year after I received it, the other half is shredded and I will soon have to throw it away. In my opinion, the price for a year's use and the excellent bacterial resistance is quite reasonable. I left my rating at 4 stars. But I prefer sponges that don't constantly fall apart and splinter, so I won't be buying this one again.

Pros
  • Ideal for cleaning walls and floors
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly
