Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Immerse Yourself with Avegant Glyph AG101 VR Headsets - Experience Patented Retinal Imaging Technology & MOPS 3D Virtual Reality Goggles with HDMI Connectivity by Nick Ross

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Is promising, but more of a proof-of-concept to please investors than the game-changer it claims to be.

I wanted to love this video headset but apparently it was released before all the problems were fixed. The imaging system, while sharp and clear, needs improvement: the only way to see the entire field was to look straight ahead. It wasn't possible at all to read menu items or anything near edges or corners. This font is unsuitable for computing tasks that require sharp and useful rendering of text and graphics near edges/corners. In addition, the resolution of 720p cannot reproduce fine details, and there was some chromatic fringing at the edges of the field of view. Although the manufacturer should be aware of these issues and what is required to release the next generation of this interesting product, I will offer my suggestions: 1) increase the screen size and resolution; 2) Enhance optics to eliminate fringing and distortion at the edges of the field of view. 3) Clearly state in your promotional materials if the system cannot be used for productivity purposes such as design, word processing, photography in Photoshop, etc. Personally, I wouldn't buy them just to watch movies. Although I tried to watch the film I figured I would probably send it back and gave up after 10 minutes. Final Thoughts: I've been looking for a suggested app for my computer for a long time and I couldn't find it anywhere. found. It seemed obvious that the manufacturer had probably dropped support for this product in 2016. It was VERY annoying! I also spent over an hour adjusting and readjusting the pupillary distance, left and right eye focus, headset height, headband tension, different nose pieces, etc. My eyes hardly need any corrections, so that's not the problem. I gave this product 2 stars because although the product is clearly not ready for release yet, the display technology is very promising, although it will be expensive and difficult to solve the main problems with it.
