Review on πŸ”Œ WAGO 221 Lever-Nuts- Pocket Pack Wire Connector Assortment (28 Pieces): Improved SEO by Todd Taniguchi

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Disappointed, does not work as expected.

I first saw these connectors on a YouTube video and thought they were pretty cool. I read a lot of reviews about Revain on here but ignored the negative ones because there were so few of them. They weren't expensive so I gave them a try. After my house was painted, I bought new sconces and planned to use these clips, but after trying two of them and neither of them helped attach the wires properly, I gave up and used the rotating type that came with the sconce was delivered. I tried several times over the course of two days using two plugs to make a solid connection but the wires fell out, the terminals opened and the wires slipped out causing my switch to permanently trip when I checked the connection. Once I dropped those clamps and used the twist, everything worked perfectly. They are a little tricky to use. Up the stairs, trying to hold the sconce and pushing two wires through each of the tiny holes on the terminals was difficult. No matter how I inserted the two wires, they locked, they slipped out when I tried to insert two more wires. It was a real balance. As I said, I've only tried two clip-on clasps and gave up before going back to tried and tested "old fashioned" screw caps, so maybe I didn't give them enough chances, but I didn't have time to keep playing around with them . The more times I tried them, the more likely I was to drop one of my new bras. I gave them an average rating because I didn't spend a lot of time getting them to work, but I didn't feel they saved me time and the learning curve took too long. IMO, sometimes the old way is still the best. Maybe you have better luck.
