I have 2 big problems with this item. At first I would sometimes set an alarm and at some point I would have to change the alarm time or even in the morning I would decide to get some sleep and turn off the alarm. However, the alarm still rings at the original wake-up time, so it looks like a ghost or something. I ended up just turning it off in frustration because it kept happening over and over again. A month later I plugged it back in and tried again and now it doesn't work at all! Even if I put batteries in (because you have the choice: put batteries in the device or connect it to the mains) and now it somehow doesn't work anymore. What the hell it never worked properly and broke after 6 months of very moderate use. I probably only used the alarm function or the charging station once a week and they broke before the end of 6 months. Very upset! Waste of money and lost precious sleep on many occasions due to a "ghost" alarm that kept ringing even after I turned off both alarms! Grrr.
