This item is perfect for my 20lb doggie, who I am happy to say is pulling less during our walks. I was afraid I would seriously choke the poor thing using a basic collar. While I feel the item is sturdy enough for my lil guy, I'm not sure if that's the case for a larger, stronger dog. I really do like the soft padding and the front and top leash rings.He got ahold of his last one and chewed the clasp which allowed it to slip off-sic. I didn't hesitate ordering another as it works so well for us. Gotta keep an eye on my year old furbaby-lol.
