Didog Soft Flannel Padded Dog Vest Harness, Escape Proof Quick Fit Reflective Training Walking Harness XS Chest 15-18 Purple Review

My friend uses this harness on her chill 40 pound pit Bull mix for walks and it works great for them so I thought I’d try it for my 50 pound hound dog mix. My pup has gotten out of this harness at least 10 times, whether on a leash or lead out in the yard. She’s a runner so I think I need something sturdier and stronger for her as it’s already ripping. So I think it works for a calm dog but not a high energy one.

This harness is made well and is about as simple as it can be to get on and off. The O ring on the top takes a second to get used to not having the leash on a fixed point on the harness but makes for a better walking experience once you adapt to it.

I tried six different harnesses before I found this one, which fits my Italian Greyhound perfectly! YAY! As other IG owners can relate, most dog accessories aren't designed for the slim body and deep chest of these petite dogs, but this one is great. Not only is it super soft (which means no chafing on delicate skin), but it's also lightweight. I loved this harness right up until it broke. It's soft enough and has a good enough fit so that it didn't irritate my dog's skin, and the front clip does help with pulling (which is what it's advertised as!)But the front D-ring is just attached with a short strip of nylon to the rest of the harness, and the stitching came apart after a few weeks. My main reason for getting this is my dog seems to be irritated when step in harnesses rub his armpits. This has eliminated the discomfort from that. I have a Maltese and he pulls when excited. The benefit of the step in was the pressure was on his chest, the front strap on this harness puts pressure above his chest bone so while I don't think it's high enough to cause tracheal collapse, it still causes him to wheeze. My dog dog (a pit bull / chihuahua mix with very short hair) must have pretty sensitive skin. His old harnesses seemed to cause hair loss between his shoulder blades, on his chest, and behind his arms. Basically everywhere they touched. I have a 17 lb chihuahua mix that has been able to escape every collar and harness I've tried. This one fits and didn't come off. So easy to use and I love the soft fabric.

We initially were very happy with this harness. Easy to put on and take off. Has the latch in the front for pullers - but certainly does not help with pulling of a 66lb dog. This past weekend the stitching completely broke apart and our dog was loose. Good thing we were not on a main street.Would purchase again for a non-pulling, lighter dog.

This item is perfect for my 20lb doggie, who I am happy to say is pulling less during our walks. I was afraid I would seriously choke the poor thing using a basic collar. Our little Pug/Dashund mix dog is very thick in the chest area and we were having a tough time deciding on the best harness replacement for him. We needed something adjustable to be sure of a proper and comfortable fit for him. It's an excellent choice for this type of dog.

They are great! I have purchased many times and they are especially fabulous for puppies that need to get used to a harness. Super soft, comfortable, sturdy and padded. Can be washed in the washing machine. I also like that the front of the harness sits across the dogs chest, not around it's throat. For brachial breeds this is particularly great! HIGHLY recommend.

We actually just used it for the first time this morning. And it’s real easy to put on it feels really soft and he didn’t resist it. And he looks very handsome wearing it.

This is our third Didog harness for our Schipperke. He has a deep chest so this fits him well and it is escape-proof. He has a thick coat and the flannel lining doesn't wear his fur away as other harnesses might. He is always comfortable in it and we rarely take it off. This is a great harness that owners and dogs will love.

We preferred this harness to other, more restrictive harnesses we tried. It is very easy to put on and remove, and provides enough structure to hold the dog. The only problem is that after 8 months the plastic buckle mechanism would not unlock. We had to cut harness in order to remove from dog.

I wish I would have bought this harness sooner. It's so easy to put on and our dog can't get out of it. Now she actually comes up to me to go for a walk.
