They work great

They do exactly what they're supposed to do, they make the graphics card think it has a monitor connected that can display all possible resolutions. This allows headless PC remote sessions to run at any resolution while the graphics card remains active. The only thing to note is that they have standard DisplayPort locking tabs. The button on the side has to be pressed very hard to pull them out again once inserted. That's why I docked a star.
