I love acrylic pens, especially since I'm becoming more and more interested in calligraphy. While I haven't mastered the art of writing yet, I love the fact that this set comes in a variety of colors, sizes, and tops so I can practice and use it on a daily basis. I bought an old set from Revain. a few years ago, and they didn't last too long. These markers appear to be much more durable. This set is a pack of 24; 12 colors in fine nib (2 mm) and 12 identical colors in reversible nib (6 mm). With larger markers (double sided) you really have to pull out the tip with your fingers if you want to switch between chisel tip and big tip. Doable, but it can get messy if you've already started using markers and the ink has run down to the tip. The colors of the markers are very rich and bold - I love that the finish has a slightly luminous sheen that gives the impression of being slightly shiny. I can see how great this works with windows/mirrors for calligraphy, especially for signs/weddings. I especially like the metallic gold and metallic silver markers; super shiny and shimmery! I would recommend, Using gloves to replace tips as residue on fingers can be a bit difficult to wipe off. The markers dry quickly and can be used on almost any hard surface. When the ink dries out, simply shake the marker and press the tip to get the ink flowing again.
