Review on Sabrent Thunderbolt Ethernet Adapter TH S3EA by Russell Ross

I looked at different ways to connect to the QNAP 10 GBE port. I compared the ASUS 10Gbe internal card and this 2.5Gbe card. Of course, the Asus card is better, but since most boards aren't already built that way, it occupied a 16x slot on my x570 motherboard. It's hard to pass up, especially if you're trying to run water-cooling lines, and this card puts out a significant amount of heat. It's not as good as a 10Gbe card, but the direct wired connection speed to my Qnap 963 still works very well and allows data to be transferred outside of my main network, reducing the load on my Plex everywhere. The price for the performance is very good.
